Your privacy

We work hard to protect your privacy and ensure the security of information regarding you whilst stored on our servers. We guarantee that no personal information will be passed on by us to third parties without your prior consent. If at any time you wish to have your account removed or do not wish us to store your personal information any longer, please contact us.

Confidentiality

We treat all email messages as private. Exceptions to this are where permitted by law, or where required in order to ensure our service runs reliably and your use of the service does not impact other users. We withold the right to intercept and/or disclose messages where there is a legal demand or a need to operate or protect our systems.

Quotas

Your account will have a 50mb 'quota', or limit, when it is created. It is your responsibility to ensure that mail is deleted when it is no longer needed. Please remember that once you reach your quota your account will stop receiving mail. Each individual may open a single fuzzmail account for their personal use. If an account is unused for more than 28 days, it may be closed to ensure the best service for other users.

Spam and virus scanning

Whilst we do our best to stop all spam and virii from ever reaching your inbox, some may slip through. Newer virii may not be picked up until our software vendors release updates. Please exercise caution with attachments and always virus scan anything you have been sent. If you receive an unknown attachment, you should ask the sender what it is before you open it.

Prohibited actions

We prohibit the following actions from both our servers and your address. Where reasonable proof is provided that you, or someone using your account, is undertaking any of the actions below we may close your account.

• Harassment, including language content, volume, or size of messages.
• Sending unsolicited commercial email or any sort of junk or advertising mail to individuals who do not wish to recieve it.
• Sending malicious email, including but not limited to the sending of viruses, email "bombs" or malicious script.
• Forging, or attempting to forge, any mail headers.
• Collecting, or attempting to collect, information using any sort of pyramid scheme or "phishing" scam.
• Subscribing those other than yourself to mailing lists.
• Opening more than one account at a time.
• Attempting to impersonate any member of fuzzmail staff, either by 'phishing' or using an official looking account name.

Legal

The server that hosts fuzzmail is based in London, England. The laws of this country apply to our actions, your actions and any electronic mail sent through or received at the server.

Changes to the AUP

We reserve the right to alter the AUP at any time. Notice will be provided to you of any changes as an email sent to your fuzzmail account.
